Firstly, congratulations to tonight's Winners:

Open Section:     rafcalum
U1350 Section:
MerryJazz

It is great to see a new winner in the U1350 section, so very well played to MerryJazz for winning this event for the first time.  In the Open section, victory went to rafcalum, winning his second event following his previous win in the Fish n' Chips Friday tournament.

Position of the Week

This evenings position is taken for the game between

FlatUpbeatFalcon vs AbleLopsidedGiraffe

This position come from tonight's U1350 section and is the position after move 14 for Black.  White plays Bxc7 here, but there may be a better option, winning at least a piece - can you see what White could have played?

Answer:  15: Bg5 appears to win either Blacks Queen for the loss of a rook, or wins the Knight.
